Elza is giving presentations of Dogs and Birds in various parts of the UK.
The next event will be a Two-Day Early Childhood Music Workshop in Windsor, UK on 12 and 13 April 2013. This is a joint event with internationally renowned expert in early childhood music education from Hungary, Helga Dietrich.

This workshop will consist of two sessions running in parallel.
(I) Fostering Creative Musical Development in Early Childhood - Helga Dietrich
This two-day workshop is recommended for nursery/infant teachers and music educators who are interested in discovering a wide variety of ways to reach young children through music, and learning how to arouse the interest and love of music in the child through fantasy, musical play: simple melodious and rhythmic speech - songs, rhymes and singing games.
These sessions are offered to anyone that wants to learn more about teaching music to young children via fostering musical activities effectively.
The sessions, conducted by Helga Dietrich, will be based upon Zoltán Kodály’s pedagogical principles and will present materials, showing the role of rhythmic chantings and singing games in order to foster the inner need of musical games from birth to 6 years age range. It is recommended that delegates attend both days of this course.
(II) Dogs and Birds: Teaching Piano to 3-7 Year Olds - Elza Lusher
This two-day workshop will cover all aspects of the Dogs and Birds approach. Day one will be concerned with the material in Book 1, the Nursery Rhyme book and the various musical elements. Day two will cover Book 2, the Sol-fa book and the switch to conventional music.
This course is aimed at piano teachers and music teachers, and delegates can attend either day or both days.
